IMPROVING YOUR FAMILY’S DIET — A HEALTHY MAKEOVER

The greatest wealth is health. Life is happy when you are healthy. It all starts with healthy eating and improving your family’s diet.

So its very important to know all these facts : — —

  1. Most food are fried or cooked with excess oils like French Fries, potato chips, cheeseburgers etc. are considered greasy. ( high in calories, salt, fat, carbohydrates but low in vitamins, minerals and fibers)

Repeated heating of cooking oil at high temperature generate various harmful chemicals like Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) some of which have been reported carcinogenic. Various toxic products like hyper oxides and aldehydes when absorbed by food enter into our system and its long term effect can lead to hypertension, diabetes, vascular inflammation. So it is very important to avoid repeated heating of cooking oil in your kitchen. Its better to take only a small quantity of oil and you can also choose better or healthier options like Air frying, Steaming, Grilling etc. to avoid greasy food from your family’s diet .

2. Load your plate with lots of vegetables, salad and eat a balanced diet.

3. Cut down processed food from your diet. Highly processed food are loaded with nitrates and are cancer causing.

4.Always choose whole grain foods as a part of your healthy diet like Barley, Brown rice, Buckwheat, Millet, Whole wheat bread , Oatmeal etc.

Whole grains are healthiest kind of grains as high in fiber, good source of complex carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals thus lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer and many other health problems.

5. Include fermented food in your diet as it fill your body with live probiotics. You can include Yoghurt, Buttermilk which is a very healthy option and a boost of probiotics in your daily diet.

6. Include a glass of milk to get 13 essential nutrients, calcium , protein, magnesium as a part of your daily diet.

7. Make a lovely list of healthy eating and drinking , always be happy and enjoy your food as

8. Good nutrition and healthy makeover in your family’s diet will prevent 95% of all disease.
